a good time to be a girl

I don't know what I'm talking about, but I DO know that Wednesday night's show was AMAZING and you missed out if you were not there. We opened up the night with a pretty good set, if I do say so myself, although somewhat shorter than we've been playing. We dressed in color-coded outfits because our friend John Tom was helping out by filming some live stuff for our upcoming music video. Which, by the way, is open and needy for extras, so if you want to be in it, please let us know.
So anyway, we were followed by three AMAZING bands, in chronological order: Cheese on Bread, The Bloodsugars, and Walkie Talkie, all of whom we would LOVE to play with again some time.
The next morning we were up bright and early (12:30) at Katherine's house to start recording our album. We've been working for two days and it's going pretty well. Things are starting to come together pretty well, and we're hoping to have a CD release party some time in mid-August, around the 13th. If you'd like to help us find a venue for this show/party, please get in touch with us.
Tonight we have another show! It's at 10:30 at Murphy's on Madison Avenue. We'd really appreciate if you come because we're expecting a pretty small, unfamiliar crowd and it would be nice to see some of your lovely faces in the sea of heads. The cover charge is $5 and it will totally be worth it.
